It's Friday! How is it Friday already?! This week just whizzed by. I went to my doctor's office this morning to get some blood work just to make sure that everything looks normal. And yes, I have several reasons why I went in to see the doctor today. I am someone who doesn't like going to the doctor even though I take all of my family members often for their annuals. I think a lot of people can relate. When we are care givers, we just give to others and we put ourselves last. And as I've watched other people around me fall ill, including myself earlier this year, it's time to start taking care of ourselves. Especially, when I have been noticing some abnormal symptoms lately. So for my peace of mind, I took myself into the doctor's office this morning for some tests.
And 2 and a half hours later, I left the doctor's office with no blood work because they tried to poke me several times with the needle and couldn't draw any blood. They had a new nurse. And for someone like me who doesn't like needles to be paired with someone who had to give it several tries. It was not a good experience for me. They said I was severely dehydrated. So they sent me home and told me to drink A LOT of water and come back in a few days.
