Monday I shared with you 4 fun and easy Holiday Themed Craft Projects and Freebies.  Tuesday I shared with you some easy Recipes for kids.  Today I want to share with you more Holiday Ideas!  If you missed yesterday's freebies, just hop on over here to check out my post from yesterday. 

Here are some Quick, Fast, and Easy Holiday Activities Ideas.  

New Year Hats. 

Use a purchased baseball hat as the base. You could also use a sturdy conical shaped birthday hat. Offer fabric paints, glitter, gold and silver garland, feathers, pompoms, ribbons, -- whatever catches your fancy at the craft or dollar store. Younger children need to use a nontoxic glue while older children and adults can use a hot glue gun.  

Veggie and Fruit Faces. 

This is a fun appetizer while waiting for the big dinner. Make a face using only vegetables and fruits. The only rule is that if the child (or adult) uses a veggie in their face, they have to eat what they use.  Offer a selection of whole, shredded, sliced, and strips of various vegetables and fruits. For example, the eyes of the face are kiwi slices with a blueberry in the center. The nose is a baby carrot or mushroom cap, the mouth a red pepper circle and the teeth, corn kernels. Add hair of shredded cabbage, broccoli or cauliflower florets. Serve with a couple of dips such as ranch and onion. 

Mitten Snowball Pickup

Played in teams of two. One player has to wear mittens and a blindfold. The other player spreads cotton balls (snowballs) in front of the first player. The snowballs have to be at least six inches apart. The game begins with the first player giving directions to where the snowballs (cotton balls) are located. The blindfolded player tries to find the snowballs and put them in a sack. Each team gets, say two minutes, to play. The team with the most snowballs wins.  

Puffed Rice Bars and a Popcorn Twist

You know the rice cereal that goes pop, crackle, and snap. Make the rice krispie treats with the recipe on the box or the bag of marshmallows.  Cut into bars. Dip one half of the bar into melted white candy coating or white chocolate. Sprinkle on crushed peppermint, colored sprinkled, and stars. Another option is to rollout fruit leather and wrap the bar in the leather as you would a gift box. Wrap the box in a red licorice rope ribbon. Instead of using the rice cereal, substitute popped corn. Form into balls. Roall the ball into colored sugars to resemble Christmas tree ornaments.
