Encourage Affiliates to Create Custom Bonuses

One way that an affiliate can make more sales for any product is to create customized bonus products that they will personally include when one of their customers clicks and buys from their link. Whether you can do this or not depends on the type of system you use for your affiliate and shopping cart management. But, even if your system doesn’t help them do it automatically, there are other ways, you will just need to teach them how to do it.

Bonuses Increase Conversions

A bonus is such a better idea than a discount. When a customer sees that they’re going to get a bonus because they clicked a certain link, they’re going to be more likely to buy from that affiliate. Encouraging your affiliates to add bonus material to encourage more sales of your products will work wonders for exploding their sales.

Set It Up in Your System

In some affiliate systems, an affiliate can set up their own bonuses without your permission or help. You may have to enable this option for them to use it. These bonus items will only be given to sales made via their affiliate link. When you learn how to do this, create a video showing your affiliates how to set that up in your system if you have that feature. 

Teach them to Do it Another Way

There are other ways to include bonus material. They can simply provide a code to the person to use along with a link. For example, “Buy from my link and receive a bonus.” When you get the email stating your customer purchased, you can then use automation and the email address of the customer to deliver the bonus. Look into IFTTT.com and Zapier.com for more information about setting that up.

Tell Them to Get a Receipt 

Another way to deliver bonuses, and this will work best if there won’t be 100’s of sales, if there are going to be more than 10 sales, it’s better to figure out a way to automate this process. However, you can ask them to simply forward their receipt to a specific address. Again, Zapier.com may be able to help automate some of this. 

Use Automation

The best way is by using automation. If you can train your affiliates to do this, they’re going to be much more likely to give it a try. What’s great about that is it can help your affiliate build their own list at the same time as building your customer list. Plus, when they learn interesting things from you, they’re going to be more likely to remember you and promote your products using the skills you teach to them.

Boosting your affiliates sales, and helping them build their business, is the most effective way you can build your own business fast. Having affiliates adding bonuses to your products only makes you look better and gives your affiliates more freedom to make the products they recommend to their audience even more useful.
