When working with super affiliates, you really do want to make their job cut and paste easy. They really should not have to work extra hard to get your offers out to their audience. Think about how it’s done in retail stores. The product creator provides the educational materials, the bonus offers, the marketing collateral, and more so that the only thing the store does is display it where their customers congregate. It’s the same in this situation - even if it’s a digital product.
Start with an Awesome Product
This is the main thing you are responsible for creating. Create a product you know your ideal audience will use and want. Ensure it solves the problem they have easily and that it’s presented in a professional and amazing way.
Serve Your Customers Well
Provide amazing customer care and make sure it’s known that you do. A super affiliate can tell by your website if you provide good customer care. They may even test you out and buy something from you before they decide to sell it. They might even complain or ask a question to find out if your customer service is good enough for their audience. After all, their reputations are on the line.
Care About User Experience
If your site works well, including the home page, contact page, and check out (and everything in between), your customers will have a good user experience. If they come to your site and they cannot figure out how to do anything or when they do, it doesn’t work, your conversions will be low, and a super affiliate won’t bother with that situation.
Good Price Point
You’re more than likely selling your creations for less than you should. Double check your price points to ensure they’re compelling to a super affiliate. Will they make enough money to bother promoting you? Most super affiliates aren’t going to bother with something that makes them a dollar or two unless the funnel is so compelling that their chance to make hundreds is there.
High Commissions
Start with 50 percent commission and work your way up from there for super affiliates. Of course, if you have a product that is not digital, that is different, but for digital products consider how many the affiliate may sell before you decide not to up that commission rate.
Well Thought Out Funnels
When you have created well thought out funnels, you boost commission potential. Send documentation to the super affiliate that describes your funnel and what their customer goes through once they are a customer or get on your list. This will incentivize them to promote your products.
Limited Time Offers
If you really want to incentivize them to promote fast, bring out some limited time offers of higher commission, extra bonuses, as well as contests that help them get started promoting you when you want them to promote and not some other time when they get around to it. You want them to promote you on your schedule so creating limited time offers, contests, and more help with this process.
High-Converting Sales Pages
Of course, if you don’t have high-converting sales pages, it’ll be hard to get a super affiliate to want to promote you. Test your sales pages, improve them, make them convert at least at whatever your industry standard is so that they know if they send clicks, they’ll make money.
Make Getting Links Easy
Your affiliate system should generate the links for your affiliates so that all they do is grab them. It’s even better if you can send an email with each new offer you have to your affiliates so that they can grab the link right out of their email and get started promoting fast. But at the very least there needs to be a backend where they can go to grab any links easily.
Marketing Collateral & Resources
You need to provide all the marketing collateral and resources that they need to promote your products and or services. They’ll need content for social media, email, and their blog. They’ll need graphics for all the above. They may also need how-to videos, product demos, and so forth - depending on the type of product you are selling. If you’re not sure what they need, ask them.
If you really want to set up an affiliate program that attracts super affiliates and, even better, keeps them engaged long term, you’ll need to make it super easy for them. It should be so simple that you make it a no-brainer for them to join.
